Get better each day. The secret behind skills and perfection is daily learning and practice. Habits don’t change in a day. But 1% a day makes every habit work. They work if you do a little each day. If you relax and give yourself permission to only improve a little each day, then a good habit works.
Pablo Picasso was one of the best in his field and this is because he spent five hours practicing every day. Now at the age of eighty-five, a journalist caught up with him still practising and asked him why he still put in so much effort into his Art? Guess what he said, “I think I am getting better.”
This man knows that the moment you stop growing, getting better, you start coming down. Some people will even tell you that the moment you stop growing in any area of your life, you begin to die in that same area.
In other words, if you are gifted with the ability to draw and you don’t practice it for you to grow better in it, that drawing talent will actually die and you will lose it completely.
Get better in whatever you are doing, be it your studies or talent, make effort to know more and become more skillful, you will not regret it.
Get better each day.
